Ford Lane Murals Project EOI

Expressions of Interest Now Open

Burwood Council is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from artists and collectives to deliver a series of five site-specific murals for Ford Lane, with one commission to include a programmable lighting feature. This major public art project is part of Licence to Play: Burwood Event-Ready Streets, supported by the NSW Government’s Plug Pilot Play Program.

Located in the heart of Burwood’s CBD, Ford Lane is set to become a creative corridor for public art, cultural events and community activations. The project will celebrate Burwood’s rich musical legacy and its dynamic emerging arts scene – connecting iconic local music history with the energy of today’s rising talent.

Artists will be contracted directly by Council and will work in collaboration with Clear Control (lighting supplier for Site 1) and Juddy Roller (site and logistics manager).

We encourage submissions from artists of all backgrounds who are passionate about shaping Burwood’s evolving cultural landscape.
